We have invested in many of Amada’s optional extras to minimise set-up’s to give Hi-Tech the edge over other companies with less down time between jobs, meaning we can produce your parts faster than ever before. With four laser cutting machines we have the ability to shift jobs around to meet your requirements.
We are equipped to handle the smallest of jobs through to large production runs with minimal delays. The flexibility of all our machines enables us to set up for production work as well as one-off components without delays.

With the use of high-tech Amada equipment we have the capability to be a quality supplier of the following services:
- CNC 3D tube laser cutting
- Flat sheet CNC laser cutting
- High accuracy press brake work
- Assembly and finishing work
- Process mig welding of steel up to 5.0mm
- Design through to fabrication (Amada’s own AP100 Design & Production software)
- Insertion – clinch nuts ; studs; standoffs etc
Program & Design
Basic components can be programmed in-house using AP100 (which is compatible with Autocad and Solid Works).
For complicated components we would require a DXF or DWG file (not scaled, must be 1-1) to be supplied by the customer or from our preferred designer.
We can also take your concept and prototype it for your approval and then supply you with the finished goods.
Otherwise, highly complicated components can be commissioned by a Design Engineer and Hi-Tech will provide you with a working set of drawings and the components.
Hi-Tech has just had a major upgrade of its programming system. With Amada’s latest upgrade, we now have three programming stations to eliminate delays at the programming stage.
Ever had folding work not completed to your specifications? Hi-Tech can now take your drawing from Solidworks and utilize your folding specification and input it directly into our HDS pressbrakes. Feel free to talk to Edan about this new process.
