Laser Cutting Benefits
File Transfer
With the latest CAD software, we can quickly convert your drawing or file into our system and nest your parts in the most efficient way, minimising material wastage which saves you money. If you are unable to supply us with a file, we can design your part from a sketch or even a cardboard template!
Laser Etching/Marking
Our laser can etch part numbers, serial numbers, logos or instructions onto most materials. This is not an engraved finish. We have many samples available for viewing.
Minimum Hole Sizes
The general rule of thumb for laser cutting high quality holes is that they should be no smaller in diameter than the plate thickness you are cutting from. We are more than happy to pierce the hole centre for you to drill out to your specified size.
Cut Quality
Whilst we offer superior edge quality when compared to plasma cutting and/or turret-punched parts, there may be burrs on the thicker materials. For a more linished, smooth edge we have our new TimeSaver which can quickly and efficiently remove these sharp edges if need be.
Customer-supplied Material
Whilst we prefer to cut parts from our own material, we are more than happy to cut from supplied material but it must be free from rust with no plastic coating.
